Kurrajong Early Childhood Intervention Service is situated in Wagga Wagga at 2 Grampian Place, Tatton. KEIS are also situated in Cootamundra, Tumut and Griffith.
KEIS provides specialised services and support to families with young children who have developmental delays and disabilities.
- KEIS builds families capacity to provide learning experiences and opportunities to support their children's development.
- Maximises the use of everyday family situations support children's potential development.
- Provides a key worker who is the main point of contact for the family and assists with the coordination and the planning of the service for their child.
- With the family KEIS develops an Individual Family Service Plan and Individual Education Program for each child.
- Conducts a variety of parent programs to provide information and strategies to assist with child development. Provides group programs for children and their family where targeted skills can be developed and reinforced in a social setting.
